I find it so true when it comes to home cooking. If I for some reason don’t find 30 min on Saturday to plan for the next week it turns out as a catastrophe because everything is purely reactive.
I often make meal choices I would’t otherwise make if I was prepared and had in my fridge and pantry everything I need.
