Chocolate Pecans Energy Bar
Incredibly easy and so yummy! Just mix it all together. This snack is full of healthy fats and anti oxidants. Just watch the amount you eat as nuts and dates are very calorific.

Makes 2 bars 5cm x 10cm
Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups pecans, lightly toasted
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- 15 large pitted dates
- ¼ dried cranberries
- ¼ dried goji berries
- ¼ dried sun flower seeds
- 1 tbs hemp seed powder or other plant based protein powder
- 2 tbs water
Method
- Blend pecans, cacao powder and hemp seeds in food processor until well mixed and coarsely ground
- Add in dates and process until well blended with dry ingredients
- Stir in dried fruits and seeds with a spoon or by hand
- Press mixture into baking dish
- Freeze for 1 hour, or until firm, then cut into bars
